1889 The Catholic Educator Instruction Devotion Book w/ Gaffney Family History:

Antique 1889 Catholic book - The Catholic Educator A Library of Catholic Instruction and Devotion... Basically a big Catholic Bible story book with some nice prints. Good condition with minor cover wear and moderate loss to the cover gilding. Weak hinges, loose binding, binding tore a bit inside cover. The pages are yellowed somewhat, but are not especially brittle. Title page and at least one other in the beginning is torn or separated, all other pages are intact. Large book, measures 10 1/4 inches tall.

The book has a section in the middle for family history. This section has been partially filled out with information about members of the Gaffney family. There are at most a dozen entries of births, deaths & marriages.
