1950's Era Jet Shaped Chrome Hood Ornament:

This old hood ornament looks to be from a Mercury Montclaire. Jet shaped streamlined design as pictured. Fair to good condition. There is a crack in the back of on of the large wings and there is moderate to heavy wear and oxidation to the chrome. Measures almost 14 inches long.
