    This is a wonderfully preserved example of a Regency period gold claddagh ring that has a superb braided hair band. The claddagh hands are made of gold, exact purity of the gold is unknown. The back of the ring is engraved with the date July 18, 1835 as well as the initials "M.H." The ring is a size 10. Excellent condition with no damage and virtually no wear whatsoever.

    The ring comes in the box in which it was found. The box is from H.M. Manheim & Co. in Nassau, NY and the bottom is impressed with "Germany." The box is in excellent condition as well, though it probably only dates to the early 1900's itself. Box has a push button latch mechanism. Learn More

    Philadelphia Photographer Volume VII edited by Edward L. Wilson, copyright 1870 by Benerman & Wilson in Philadelphia...this book is a compilation of the the 1870-1872 monthly edition of the Philadelphia Photographer journal bound together in one volume. The book has frontispiece photographic plates at the beginning of each month done by pioneering photographers. Included in these photos is a photograph of Samuel Morse by Abraham Bogardus as well as what appears to be a self portrait by Bogardus. Also photos of black Americans on a farm, children, landscapes, etc.

    This large book measures over 4 inches thick. Overall it is in very good condition. The first frontispiece page has some loose but is included as pictured. The april 1870 (no. 76) frontispiece photo is missing, looks to have never been included - the page is marked H.J. Newton New York Tea Dry Process. All other plates seem to be included. The book is intact with some looseness of the binding and wear to the cover and spine as pictured. The book has some expected foxing, but it does not seem to affect the plates themselves.

    This rare book has articles on early cameras and emerging photographic processes from the very earliest days of photography as well as articles about photographers and companies in the industry at the time. This is an incredibly scarce book that has amazing early photos and would be a great addition to anyone's photograph collection. Learn More

    This is an annual season train pass for the Mountain View Railroad in Orviston, Pennsylvania that was operated by the Hayes Run Fire Brick Company from the year 1915. The Mountain View Railroad was a short lived logging railroad in central Pennsylvania near the Lock Haven / Renovo area / Snow Shoe area.

    Pass probably used by a member of a logging crew, shows some grime associated with logging as pictured. The pass is pasted onto a page that was removed from an old World War I era scrapbook. You will receive the whole page, with the pass included, and you may decide to have a restorer remove the pass or display as is or display cut down with the black page used as a matte. Super scarce to find anything from this railroad, let along a pass.

    Pass is signed by J.L. Harvey and pass belonged to J.W. Woomer. Pass measures 4 1/4 inches wide and has wear as pictured. A professional conservator could probably clean the pass up nicely as it has no major damage and no tears. Learn More

    This rare tricycle is made even more unique by the fact that it retains nearly all of the original paint and pin-striping from when it was manufactured in the 1870's. Full strap steel construction on frame and wheels, with original turned wood grips. This tricycle even has its original leather saddle surface. Adding to the rarity is the scarce circular under-seat spring structure, that is very uncommon. This velocipede was found in an attic in rural Pennsylvania and has been in no way modified, restored or refurbished - simply wiped down lightly to remove some of the dust.

    This tricycle is in museum quality. The original paint shows some minor wear as pictured, but the vast majority of the original paint remains. Anyone would be hard pressed to find another tricycle of similar age in this condition. Would make a magnificent addition to any toy collection or could be simply the finest decorative addition to a doll collection or Christmas display. If you want to have the most impressive and head turning antique tricycle, this is it.

The trunk is in nice shabby condition, showing all sorts of age and wear as pictured. The trunk has a brass lock on the front, but not key. Trunk has large brass rivets. The trunk looks to have been converted several decades ago, based on the design of the legs, which could be swapped out for a different style or removed entirely and used as part of a luggage stack.     This is a very primitive distressed 19th century wooden rocking or hobby horse. This handmade mid-Victorian toy shows tons of wear and age and have a great folk art style to the carving, particularly the head. Some of the original paint remains. This is quite a rare size, as it is about four feet long. Solid and sturdy, but probably best used for decoration at this point. The head was separated along a glue line when we found this, and then repaired.

    This antique 1800's Victorian era wooden toy is very early ancestor of the Bongo Board toys from the mid-1900's. Unsigned, maker unknown. The board, which has some wear as pictured, still retains much of the original red paint as well as the yellow/gold colored pin striping. Board is in fine working condition and wood roller turns freely. This is a hefty toy that will hold an adult's weight.

    This is a pair of old train light sconces from the New York Central System that have been mounted to oak wall plaques. Each is marked NYCS. They come from the estate of a wood worker who mounted the light brackets to a wooden plaque with a brass reflector as pictured. The sconces come with original Pyrex chimneys. Everything on the sconces looks to be original, except the bottom of the one is a replacement and is made of tin instead of brass...you can see the difference if you look close at the photos.     This vintage pedal scooter is an HWH Marjet, made in Germany circa 1950 by Heidman-works-Hanover. Scooter was found as pictured other than a quick wipedown of years of dust that had accumulated on it. Great Streamlined Modern fendered design. Scooter measures 37 1/2 inches long.

    This rare toy is in good condition and does need a bit of work for restoration. It has the original Dunlop pneumatic tires, but they are shot. It has some bending to the grille and fender, missing grips, probably originally had a headlight on the front fender. Overall minor wear, but in nice restorable condition. No dents or major wear to the main frame.
