Antique Porcelain Slip Decorated Elephant Table Lamp:

This is a great antique slipware decorated porcelain or china figural elephant standing on a wooden base table lamp. It is unsigned, made in Japan sticker on bottom. Probably circa 1930's. Lamp is in very good condition, but needs rewired. The old cloth cord has been cut at the base. There appears to be some chipping to the underbelly of the elephant where the lamp post was inserted, but it is hard to see. Otherwise there are no chips or cracks. There is some light wear to the enamel in spots, but overall it is a very nice lamp. Measures 8 1/4 inches tall.
