Antique Salesman's Sample Coffin Burial Vault:

This is an unsigned salesman's sample burial vault - the type that would hold a coffin or casket inside. It is made of cast concrete and painted with a copper color. Very cool item, and quite rare. The vault is in nice condition with some light wear to the paint and some light shallow chipping - most of the wear occurs long the base and on the bottom of the top piece where it rests on the base. The bottom has a piece of cloth attached to the bottom. Measures 12 1/2 inches long and 6 inches tall, and as you can imagine - despite it's small size - is quite heavy.
