Early Horikawa SH Japan Tin Attacking Martian Toy Robot:

This vintage tin toy robot is marked with the Horikawa 'SH' mark. It appears to be a very early version of the Attacking Martian robot. The battery compartment has the card insert showing battery size and direction, rather than the plastic molded liner of the later versions. Robot was tested with two 'D' batteries, and did not function. The extent of the issue(s) causing it not to work is unknown. The robot is in very good condition, it has no breaks or dents. There is some light spotty surface wear to the paint as pictured. The litho'd interior is nice and the litho's look mint. This robot with fly eyes measures 11 inches tall.
