This is quite a complex piece of folk art. It is a woman on a deerskin at a loom, weaving a Christmas tree blanket while her baby lies beside her, covered by her dress. The piece is unsigned, maker unknown. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage. It measures 14 inches wide. The loom is constructed of varnished branches and the blanket is partially made. This would be a great addition to any folk art collection.
