This bowl was made by the Monarch Machine Tool Co. It appears to be a sort of salesman's sample or industrial design sample bowl. It could be used as decoration or as a trinket dish. The bottom of the bowl says: "The Monarch Machine Tool Co. Glass and Plastic Moulds Turned on a Monarch Shapemaster, Sidney, Ohio." Bowl is in excellent condition with no wear.
