This oddly beautiful handmade piece of iridescent art glass was found in an estate in rural Pennsylvania. It is unmarked and unsigned, maker unknown. This one-of-a-kind piece is more of a sculpture than bowl, with overlapping applied swung glass criss-crossed on top of it. Very thick and heavy piece with no chips or damage. There are a few small spots where the iridescence is crackled like stretch glass, that probably occurred in the making of the piece. Measures about 7 3/4 inches at the widest point.
