Sometimes natural sculptures require a bit of imagination to see the subject - that is not the case with this piece. Made out of a single piece of wood, most likely driftwood, this swan figure required that the artist only make a few cuts and no actual carving. The piece was then varnished or shellacked.

This swan sculpture is in excellent condition with no damage. It measures over 11 inches long. It will sit upright as pictured. Piece is unsigned, artist unknown. The sculpture was found in a Pittsburgh, PA estate exactly in the condition pictured.

A superb piece of American folk art that is sure to be an eye-catching addition to any collection or decor.
