1930's Art Deco Antique Taylor Swirled Bakelite Catalin Thermometer Barometer

Antique 1930's era combination barometer / thermometer made by the Taylor Instrument Company in Rochester, New York. The instrument is set in a great Art Deco swirled Bakelite or Catalin case with a butterscotch Bakelite base. 

Working condition. The Bakelite case is in excellent condition with no breaks or damage and no significant surface wear. Pictured as-found, a bit of polishing would really make the case shine, or you could leave it as it is.

For size reference, the base measures about 4 7/8 inches wide.
