This authentic antique cast-iron single-shot blank pistol was produced circa 1900–1920 by Kenton Hardware Co., modeled after a Smith & Wesson revolver. Designed specifically to fire .22 caliber crimped blank cartridges for starter/track events, Fourth of July celebrations, and theatrical use, it features a bored-through hollow barrel with a top breech-loading chamber behind the simulated fluted cylinder. The heavy cast-iron frame displays embossed circular "S" and "W" monogram medallions on opposite sides, flanked by checkered grips. In good antique working condition with functioning hammer and trigger action, honest nickel plating loss, and authentic aged iron patina free of cracks or repairs.
