Antique Primitive Mohair Teddy Bear 16" Amber Glass Eyes Well Loved Folk Art Toy

Antique early 20th-century folk art / homemade teddy bear with tons of primitive character. Sturdily hand-constructed from rich cinnamon/rust mohair-plush fabric over straw/excelsior or dense cotton batting, measuring approximately 16 inches tall. Features amber glass eyes, hand-stitched embroidered floss nose and mouth, rounded ears, stubby limbs, and a sweet little protruding tail. Heavily "loved" and historically well-mended with visible folk-style blanket/whip stitching and charming hand repairs throughout the head, face, limbs, and paw pads. A wonderful one-of-a-kind piece for antique toy, primitive, or teddy bear collectors.
