Antique Rosenthal Cameo Germany Porcelain Pitcher Vase RC Crown Mark Mars 5.25"

This is an authentic antique late Victorian Rosenthal porcelain single-handled cabinet vase / pitcher. The base bears the green underglaze "R.C." crown and crossed swords mark along with the line title "CAMEO / GERMANY" and hand-painted decor notes ("Antique Roma", "Marse", "31").

The body features a matte cream finish with hand-painted leaf accents and heavy gold gilding on the handle and rim. The front features a purple medallion framed in a raised beaded gilt border and topped with a royal crown, enclosing a classical profile of a helmeted figure (Mars/Ares). Standing 4 3/4 inches tall. It is in excellent condition with crisp gilding and no chips or cracks and no mentionable surface wear.
