Super cool old Crouse-Hinds ADR 12 cast aluminum industrial spotlight with Pyrex glass lens. Found in an estate largely as pictured, with a dry-rotted cord that will need replaced. We gave it a fairly quick scrub. Everything is bare cast aluminum, and would polish up nicely if you wanted to take a bit of time of give it a better scrub and buff.
Nice condition. No cracks, breaks or damage. The cord is shot....we didn't test, due to the condition of the cord, but rewiring it shouldn't be too big of an issue. It has a brass tag on top that is stamped "Serial 289" and an aluminum maker's tag on the back.
The base measures 12 inches wide and the glass lens is 11 inches. Would make a great powerful spotlight or just a cool decorative piece, or you could set it up with a lower wattage bulb more conducive to interior use when rewiring.
