A small scarce authentic antique industrial sample bottle boldly embossed with arched lettering reading "ACHESON / NIAGARA FALLS / GRAPHITE". Handcrafted in thick, clear molded glass with beveled corners, a threaded ground lip, and its original threaded metal screw-on cap. Still completely filled with its original crystalline, lustrous black synthetic graphite flakes produced by Edward Goodrich Acheson’s pioneering electrothermal process in Niagara Falls, New York. In excellent antique condition with sharp, crisp embossing, clean glass free of chips or cracks, and an honest aged patina on the original metal cap.
