Vintage Folk Art Wood Ocean Liner SS Washington Toy Ship Model US Lines 1930s

A vintage 1930s folk art wooden ocean liner toy model ship, hand-built and stenciled as the United States Lines transatlantic passenger vessel SS Washington. Crafted from solid layered wood and pine, featuring tiered deck superstructures, carved wooden lifeboats fastened with brads, two vibrant red, white, and blue smokestacks, and hand-painted portholes along the black hull. Fitted underneath with red wooden bead wheels for pull-toy rolling play. Displays authentic aged patina, honest paint wear, edge softening, and weathered finish consistent with pre-WWII maritime folk art toys.

Measures about 22 inches long. Wear and age is as pictured. Missing a couple of the little life boats and the one wooden wheel on the bottom.
