Vintage Lefton Candy Cane Kid Pixie Elf Figurine Japan Christmas Stripe Gnome

This is a rare, mid-century vintage Geo. Z. Lefton "Candy Cane Kids" Ceramic Pixie Elf Figurine.

Made in Japan during the late 1950s, this whimsical Christmas pixie features hand-painted red-and-white peppermint candy cane stripes across its body and tall curved stocking cap, accented by fine green pin-striping and a tuft of green hair. The figurine is depicted sitting in a playful split-legged pose with outstretched arms. The underside bears the official "© Geo. Z. Lefton" black stamped signature along with the original red and gold oval "MADE IN JAPAN" foil label. The piece is in crisp condition with vibrant cold-painted details and smooth glaze throughout.

Measures 3 1/4 inches tall.
