Estate found trench art swivel trench art photo frame stand with picture frame suspended between two military artillery shells. There are coins from Newfoundland Canada under the smaller bullets and one from 1941 embedded in the front of the stand as pictured. Wood base. Pictured, and being sold, with the photograph that was found in it that shows a couple standing outside. Subjects are unknown and the photo shows extensive fading and some staining.
The frame is unsigned, maker unknown. The photo could be swapped out for a period military photo....there are screws at the corner of the etched clear photo cover as pictured. Pictured as found, except for the screw on top of the base that keeps photo from swiveling too far backwards. This screw was missing when found and caused the photo to swing too far back at the bottom. We stuck an old brass screw in the hole that was already there to keep photo where it should be, but could easily be swapped out for a different one it you wanted.
For size reference, the felt covered base measures just over 8 inches long. Refer to the photos for a better idea of the style and condition, you will receive the exact trench art frame that is pictured.
