999 Harness Preserver Oil Advertising Tin The Petroleo Company Waterford, NY

If you collect advertising or oil tins, here is a rarity to add to your collection. Super scarce, probably one-of-a-kind. 999 Harness Preserver oil or grease advertising tin from the Petroleo Company in Waterford, New York. The tin was found in a crawl space in an old carriage house in Pennsylvania.

Tin is still partially full of a dark oily grease. We did not picture this. When found, the tin was completely black. We "cleaned" it to the point shown. We'll leave it up to the future owner on how best to preserve/display the can....the tin still shows dried oil all over the surface as pictured.

Condition: God condition with no major damage as pictured. Please refer to the multiple photos to better help determine the condition. You will receive the exact tin that is pictured.

Size: Measures 5 1/2 inches wide.

Other: Most of the oily darkness on the surface is dry, but the contents inside is runny and greasy, and tin will be shipping wrapped in plastic and likely will have some wet oiliness around the opening rim.
