Antique Heavy Opaline Glass Ceiling Pendant Light Fixture Globe Hanging Shade

Old, probably circa turn of the century or thereabouts, thick heavy opaline or milk glass ceiling pendant light globe with ribbed fluted sides and ruffled top. Unsigned, maker unknown. "Patent Applied For" appears in raised letters between the ruffles along the top edge. The globe comes with what appears to be the original steel chains and the brass mounts are still intact.

Measures 10 inches in diameter across the top opening. Very good condition with no major damage. One of the raised portions of the top edge has a thin flake chip, but it is not really noticeable without close inspection and should not detract from the look of it when installed. The chains have surface rust and the mounts have a dark patina to the brass.
