Antique Lictonic Stock Tonic Embossed Tin Sign Horse Medicine Palm Kimmswick, MO

This is an antique Lictonic stock tonic embossed tin lithograph sign (c. 1910s–1920s). Manufactured for the Lambert Chemical Co. of St. Louis, MO, this agricultural advertising sign promotes Lictonic, a medicated salt brick/block for horses and livestock.

The sign features embossed lettering reading "LICTONIC / SAVES FEED, SAVES MONEY. IMPROVES STOCK, PREVENTS DISEASE / BUY IT BY THE CASE", alongside a circular vignette depicting a horse's head licking a Lictonic block. The lower yellow banner includes local dealer imprint text reading "FOR SALE BY WILLIS A. PALM, KIMMSWICK, MO." The embossed tin sign measures approximately 23 3/4 inches long by 9 3/4 inches tall. Condition is good antique; the colors remain bold with crisp embossing, displaying authentic age patina, scattered surface scratches, minor paint wear near the lower corner, and light oxidation/rust spots on the reverse.
