An authentic antique turn-of-the-century patent medicine bottle for Pepper's Laxative Stomach Bitters, manufactured by Thomas Pepper's Sons in Ashland, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Preserved in remarkable full, unopened condition with original contents and intact lead-foil wrapped seal over the neck and cork. Molded in heavy dark amber glass featuring recessed rectangular panels, chamfered vertical edges, and an arched front face displaying the iconic original paper label depicting a cheerful gentleman raising a glass. The label states a 21% alcohol content alongside a botanical laxative formula compounded with cascara sagrada. In exceptional display condition with full shoulder fill level, intact embossed base, and authentic edge chipping/paper loss along the label borders

Bottle measures 10 7/8 inches tall. Still sealed with original contents. No glass damage. Label loss/wear is as pictured.
