Handcrafted studio art glass paperweight orb created by Pennsylvania master glass artist Herbert A. "Herb" Thomas. Featuring his signature Art Nouveau and volcanic-inspired styling, the piece displays a frosted satin pink body beneath applied, raised molten trailings of iridescent oil-slick black and metallic bronze glass. The base features a smoothly polished pontil inscribed with his authentic "HAT" artist monogram. In excellent pre-owned studio condition with no chips, cracks, or fleabites, showing only minor, expected shelf display wear on the polished bottom.
