Original vintage aircraft electrically heated pitot tube manufactured by Aero Instrument Co. (Cleveland, Ohio). Features an L-shaped aerodynamic aluminum/metal body designed for left-side aircraft mounting, complete with internal electrical heating prongs and extended pitot-static line fitting with protective end cap. Crisp factory stamping reads: "TUBE-PITOT, ELECTRICALLY HEATED / 'L' SHAPED-28 VOLT- / AERO INST. CO. CLEVELAND, O. 44135 / MFG'S PART NO. PH504-8L (LEFT)" along with "TOP" orientation mark. Very good vintage/surplus condition with honest hangar/flight wear, light surface scuffs, and intact fittings.
