Vintage Lefton Candy Cane Kid Standing Pixie Elf Figurine Japan Christmas Figure

This is rare piece from the mid-century Geo. Z. Lefton "Candy Cane Kids" series.

Made in Japan during the late 1950s, this standing ceramic pixie elf is hand-painted in vibrant red-and-white peppermint candy cane stripes with green pin-striping throughout. It features a tuft of red hair sticking out from its striped suit and a long, hooked candy cane hat. The pixie is posed standing with its hand resting near its face. The bottom of the feet retain both the official stamped "© Geo. Z. Lefton" signature and the original red-and-gold foil "MADE IN JAPAN" sticker. It is in very clean condition with bright colors and smooth glazing.
