Vintage Lefton Candy Cane Kid Waving Pixie Elf Figurine Japan Christmas Figure

This is a variation from the mid-century Geo. Z. Lefton "Candy Cane Kids" series. 

Made in Japan during the late 1950s, this standing ceramic pixie elf is hand-painted in vibrant red-and-white peppermint candy cane stripes with green pin-striping throughout. This figure features red bangs sticking out under its cap, one hand resting on its hip, and the other raised in a wave, topped with the signature tall hooked candy cane hat. The bottom of the feet retain the official stamped "© Geo. Z. Lefton" signature and the original red-and-gold foil "MADE IN JAPAN" sticker. The piece is in excellent condition with glossy glazing and bright original paint.
