This is an original antique 1-pound tinplate pry-lid coffee tin for Swell Blend Chautauqua Brand Coffee, distributed by Wilcox, Crissey Company, Inc. of Jamestown, New York.

The lithographed exterior features a vibrant seafoam green, deep blue, and yellow Art Deco shield design with an oval center medallion illustrating a historic paddlewheel steamboat cruising on Chautauqua Lake. The side panel displays company guarantees and branding for "Wilcox, Crissey Company, Inc. Wholesale Grocers and Coffee Roasters, Jamestown, N.Y." along with the "W-C Co." logo. The original tinplate lid is embossed with the factory instructions: "PRY OPEN HERE".

Condition is good vintage/shop display quality with authentic patina, strong graphics and bold typography across the main front and text panels, light scattered oxidation, and an area of paint loss/oxidation on one side panel.
