Vintage Zippo Pocket Tape Measure Rule Farrell Materials Handling Machinery Box

This is an original NOS vintage Zippo Rule retractable pocket tape measure (c. 1950s–1960s) complete with its original presentation box. Housed in a brushed chrome metal case, this advertising piece features custom front enamel graphics reading "materials handling machinery by FARRELL". Farrell was a company located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

The bottom of the casing is stamped "ZIPPO MFG. CO. BRADFORD, PA." The flexible metal ruler extends cleanly and features clear inch markings alongside the Zippo script logo. This lot includes its original two-piece gold and black cardboard box marked "ZIPPO RULE / UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED" with the inner cardboard insert.

Condition is excellent vintage, showing crisp graphics, and no real significant surface wear to the tool. The retraction is a bit hesitant from storage, but the rule is flawless. The original box has some light wear from storage and two of the edges of the top are split as pictured.
